The MacGregor 26M has a more traditional shear line which combined with the double row of windows makes the boat look longer and along with the taller mast, the 26M sports a more traditional sailboat look.

Customers now have the choice of color selecting either a white hull with embedded black stripes or a blue hull with white stripes. Both look great.

Pelican hooks on cockpit lifelines, anchor roller and larger anchor locker are a few of the improvements seen in the latest model 26M. The sliding hatch contours to the deck and when it is open, there is no gap between the deck and the hatch leading edge.

The mast section is larger (fore and aft) and does not require a backstay as did the 26X. This reduces windage and weight aloft.
A widened engine well area allows easier bolting of the engine to the transom which is now flush on all 26M MacGregors.
